One who is established in Self, who has balanced dosas, balanced agni (metabolic fire), properly formed dhatus (tissues), proper elimination of malas (waste products), well-functioning bodily processes, and whose mind, soul, and senses are full of bliss is called a healthy person.

- Susruta Samhita

What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is an ancient system of healing rooted in the interconnected understanding that each individual is a unique manifestation of the universe, and that true health is a symbiosis of balanced body, mind, and spirit. It is both a preventative and curative form of medicine that teaches that optimum wellness, rejuvenation and self-empowered healing is available to all beings.

Translating as "the science of life", Ayurveda offers practical guidance for living in accordance with one's unique constitution while imparting wisdom for navigating life's ever-changing circumstances. By viewing inner and outer experiences through the five elements and their qualitative affects, one begins to see how all things interact in a perpetual, eternal dance; that our personal experiences are impacted by external, collective and cosmic realities. Utilizing the main tenet of Like Increases Like, Opposites Bring Balance, Ayurveda invites each individual to participate in their own health and healing process through self-awareness, daily routines, herbal supplementation, and nutritional practices.

Vitality and vibrancy is an inherent right to all Beings. Through observation of nature, self-inquiry, and coming to know ones intrinsic constitution, individuals are empowered to engage with life through their intuitive impulses, supporting inner and outer harmony.
