Our Story
Eminent Earth, like the namesake of which it honors, is an ever-evolving container of support toward the actualization of an individual’s highest purpose, or dharma. We believe that each being has a unique dharma, and that the goal of our manifest reality is to actualize and carry it out through our lived experiences. In order for us to live our dharma, we must cultivate a clear physical and mental channel. Eminent Earth aims to support this process by offering guidance, practices, and celebrations intentionally crafted to inspire mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical balance.
Founder, Emileigh Joy, recognizes sevah (service) to be the foundational essence of her soul’s purpose. A natural healer with a rich background in performance, literary, healing, and environmental arts, Emileigh conceived of Eminent Earth as a receptacle with which to synthesize these varied callings. She feels a deep reverence to the ever -abundant Earth, and views it an honor - and duty - to care for its inhabitants; connection is the goal, Eminent Earth is the portal. Emileigh is a seeker, collector of various skills, and student of traditional healing systems. She gleans her personal and professional practice from the Vedic teachings of Ayurveda and yoga. For nearly a decade, Emileigh has studied yoga under the Krishnamatarya/Desikachar lineages, and completed an Ayurvedic Health Counselor certification in June of 2018 at the beautiful Kripalu Center in Western Massachusetts. Emileigh offers private wellness consultations, workshops and retreats, personal Ayurvedic cooking instruction, small-batch apothecary goods, and holds various meditation and women's circles throughout the year.
